Sun Dried Sorrel (Hibiscus sabdariffa or Jamaican sorrel) makes a strong refreshing drink that is frequently consumed in the Caribbean.
Seep dried sorrel along with bits of cinnamon sticks and cloves in hot boiled water just to cover it overnight or boil with spices and water to make drink quicker. Sweeten with sugar to taste and serve with ice. Grated ginger can be added for a Jamaican sorrel as well as some rum for an Island flavor.
Makes about 1 to 2 gallons of drink depending on how strong you like your sorrel drink.
